Wilwood formulated EXP 600 PLUS for our motorsports customers who needed a brake fluid that performed well, lap after lap. Exceeding Department of Transportation requirements, EXP 600 PLUS is DOT 4 rated, so it can legally be used in your high-performance street car as well.
Tested on the Track
Five hundred lap Stock Car races at Martinsville are the most grueling brake test in all of motorsports. The most stringent test of any fluid is how well it performs after hundreds of heat and pressure cycles. Super for the Street
Racing brake fluids indeed need high boiling points, and EXP 600 PLUS has that, but it’s just the start. For street use, where you don’t flush the brakes every weekend, it has a low moisture affinity to slow water vapor absorption. The wet boiling point of 417° F is far above the DOT minimum and most generic fluids, for month after month of use.
